Water can now be purified and made safe to drink by using only the power of the sun or wind. The SunRay 3000 uses a high-efficiency reverse osmosis membrane to purify virtually any water source, including brackish or sea water. Bacteria, viruses, chemical pollutants, heavy metals, minerals and particulates are removed. The result is pure, safe, and clean water.
Each unit produces up to 3000 liters per day. Multiple units can be provided for greater volume. The entire package, including desalinator, solar electric panels, wind generator, batteries, pump, controls and filters are shipped complete and ready to install. The power generating components are sized according to the sun and wind resources of each site. A fuel-driven generator can be used as a backup if necessary.

HOW IT WORKS
Electricity is generated from either the solar electric panels or wind generator. The power runs the desalinator system directly and charges the battery pack for nighttime use. The intake pump pulls water through a fine grade pre-filter to remove debris, sand and particles.
Water is forced through the multi-layer reverse osmosis membrane under high pressure which removes all contaminates including bacteria, viruses, salt, and harmful chemicals. Purified water is stored in a tank, ready for distribution.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
Solar panels can be mounted on the roof of a building or on the ground. They must be installed in a location that is exposed to the sun throughout the day. The wind generator must be positioned where the wind is not blocked by nearby obstacles. The desalinator unit is installed indoors to protect it from the elements. Only common hand tools are necessary and all pipe connections are made with compression-type fittings. A clean water storage tank, which should be purchased as close to the installation site as possible, completes the installation.
